ANTHONI DONCHEV - Piano The name of Antoni Donchev has been connected with all the major prestigious Bulgarian jazz awards over the last fifteen years and has achieved great success at a number of world famous jazz festivals. Alongside with activities with "Acoustic Version" Antoni Donchev realizes a number of other projects with musicians from all over Europe. Donchev is a model contemporary musician, easily and skilfully handling the broad variety of forms in performing and composing at the turn of the century. He has no difficulty whatever combining the versatility of jazz stylistics with folklore and classical music in all their aspects. "This is chamber music of the highest." Donchev is working with the music space. His compositions are like imaginary landscapes - chambermusic atmospheres. He is looking for the space between the spaces - the microcosmos of sounds.
