HARRY TAVITIAN - Piano He brings into Jazz elements of oriental music, integrating a kind of melodic repetitivity to the harmonic liberty that makes Tavitian's music a remarkable synthesis that surpass both the African and the occidental roots. His music is influenced by jazz, contemporary chamber music, the folklore of the Balkan and Armenia. He is succeeding in creating a very personal style which has references to blues as well.
